Funding your support

Can Sponsorships Help Fund Your Board's Administrative Support?

Professional administrative support does not always have to rely entirely on membership dues or general operating funds.

Associations may be able to allocate eligible corporate sponsorship revenue toward administrative services, helping offset some or all of the cost of maintaining dependable operational support.

Board Burnout can help organizations explore sponsorship opportunities, coordinate sponsorship administration, and develop an approach aligned with their operational needs and available resources.

What this can include

  • Sponsorship package administration
  • Sponsor communications
  • Sponsor renewal tracking
  • Sponsorship benefit fulfillment
  • Administrative reporting
  • Coordination with your board or sponsorship committee

Sponsorship revenue is not guaranteed and may not suit every organization. Sponsorship funds remain the association's, and any allocation is subject to board approval and applicable restrictions.

Board Administration Services FAQ

How much do Board Burnout services cost?

Pricing depends on the level of support, the services requested, and your organization's operational complexity. We offer ongoing retainers, project-based engagements, and specialized administrative services. We'll discuss your budget and priorities before developing a proposal.

Do we need to outsource all our administrative responsibilities?

No. Board Burnout can support selected tasks, specific projects, or ongoing operations. Your board retains control of governance and organizational decisions.

Can sponsorships help pay for administrative services?

Potentially. Some associations may be able to use eligible sponsorship revenue to offset administrative expenses. Board Burnout can help explore sponsorship opportunities and related administration, but funding is not guaranteed.

What happens during the Free Board Operations Review?

During a complimentary 30-minute conversation, we'll discuss your board's operational challenges, existing systems, and potential opportunities for improvement. There is no obligation to purchase services.

Do you work with our existing membership systems?

Where practical, yes. We support systems such as Wild Apricot and WordPress and can help improve existing administrative workflows without requiring a complete technology replacement.

Do you work only with Corporate Relocation Councils?

No. Corporate Relocation Councils are an area of specialized experience, but we also support professional associations, membership-based organizations, and volunteer-led nonprofit boards.

Do we need to commit to long-term services?

No. We offer short-term project support as well as 12-month agreements, so you can start with what you need most and expand from there.

How quickly can we begin?

Often shortly after an initial consultation. Once we understand your needs and a scope is agreed, we set up access, review your current processes, and begin the agreed work.

Can you support our events from start to finish?

Yes. We handle registration, vendor and speaker coordination, sponsor benefits, printed materials, and event-day administrative support.

What if we're not sure what we need?

That's what the Free Board Operations Review is for. We assess your challenges first, then recommend a plan that fits your priorities and budget.
